Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist After moving to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as a child actor. She came to prominence for her roles in AT&T television commercials as saleswoman Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and since in 2020. She also was a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally, she was an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub has also been the voice for Squirrel girl in Marvel Rising since 2018, following her appearance in the unaired television pilot New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were both at the age of two, came to America to escape antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five due to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub went to Beverly Hills High School briefly however she was kicked out of the school after her sophomore year. She then obtained a GED and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.

She is famous for her roles in the films Stay as well as The Family Stone, Sweet Land and Against the Current as well as the TV series Saved, Grey's Anatomy and The Ex-List.
